So, I'm just putting it out there... Today I cut up and roasted fresh pumpkins, and then I took out all the seeds and clean them off, cuz I'm going to roast them puppies for sure, and I made homemade fresh roasted, pumpkin pie filling. From scratch!b No jokes!!! These pies will be called, Kimmi Bees Peace pies, to honor the people we lost in Edmonton this weekend, and in honor of the injured and the dead in Las Vegas. Thank you Louise Fox for such an amazing suggestion. Ever...y pie will have the peace sign and emblazoned in the center of these beautiful pies. As we give thanks, on this Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, we will remember the atrocities of this weekend. It will be while playing Tom Petty is playing in the background. Order your pies now. Okay folks going into the oven are my chicken pot pies, made with slow roasted chicken, homemade gravy, fresh vegetables, and 17 cups of love, as well as a homemade pastry.
