Can't wait for the Banff National Park to reopen! Next time I see Lake Louise, I'm pretty sure it will be thawed and people will be canoeing on the beautiful turquoise water! Until then, please enjoy some photos of a fun winter mountain elopement I photographed this past February! The ice crystals were pretty amazing at Bow Falls, perfect for some ring photos! Don’t worry, I sanitized the rings before and after! #banffelopement #elopementphotographer #istilldo #ringphotos #detailshot #banffelopementphotographer #winterelopement #covid19elopement
Their wedding plans changed due to Covid-19 but they still decided to get married and get the pictures they wanted! She was dreaming of a flying veil picture in the mountains with snow, I think we nailed it! #banffelopement #istilldo #elopementphotographer #destinationelopement #covid19elopement #banffelopementphotographer #love #brideandgroom #mountainelopement #winterelopement #longveil
A few weeks ago, I got to help a local couple by photographing their intimate elopement in Banff. Their original wedding plans got postponed but they decided to still get married on their original date. They shared their vows privately by the Bow River and had a few friends looking from the pedestrian bridge, they also live streamed their ceremony with their family watching in the UK! I’m so happy they got to get married on their original date and I’m sure they will have a big party when it’s safe to do so! Have a look at my stories for a few more photos from their day!#socialdisdancingwedding #banffelopement #staysafe #covid19elopement #istilldo #postponedontcancel #banffelipementphotographer #love #mountainelopement #springelopement #intimatewedding #outdoorceremony #bowriver #socialdisdancing

Can't wait for Summer and hopefully be able to photograph couples all over Banff National Park! Peyto Lake always been one of my favourite location and can't wait to see it again! Here's a link to one of my latest blog post, a surprise proposal overlooking Peyto Lake! https://kimpayantphotography.com//peyto-lake-proposal-ban/
I met this awesome couple a few years ago and got to photograph their Fall wedding at Emerald Lake Lodge! At the end of February, I got to photograph another milestone in their life! Congrats on this new adventure!
Another beautiful winter elopement at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise! Have you ever visited Lake Louise in winter? It is a magical place and I can't wait to be back there when things goes back to normal!
Last month, I got to photograph a beautiful elopement at Emerald Lake! This sweet couple loves to play music together so including their guitar in a few photos was perfect for them! I love all the candles and twinkle light they added on their balcony to create a romantic atmosphere!
Surprise proposals are a lot of fun to capture! I had a great time setting up this proposal at Vermillion Lakes and I'm so happy that the surprise worked out! She had no idea it was happening! Congrats T&R!
Last week, I got to photograph a beautiful engagement session in Canmore! It was so fun to be back behind the camera after a few weeks off... Congrats to this awesome couple!
Another great couple that decided to tie the knot even if some of their original plans were affected by Covid-19. I'm so happy when couples decide to still get married instead of cancelling. Intimate weddings are great and you can have your big reception party at a later time! Trust me it is twice the fun because you get to celebrate your wedding more than once! If you are considering eloping in Banff, Canmore or anywhere in the Canadian Rockies, get in touch with me and I will be happy to give you more informations on my elopements packages!
A few weeks ago, I got to photograph this lovely couple in the mountains. They had an intimate ceremony in their home and came to Banff to get their dream wedding photos! Love isn't cancelled and you can still get married! Yes, your original plans might have changed but you can still have your special day! Have you considered eloping and having a big party at a later time when it is safe to do so? That's actually what I did 7 years ago and it was the best decision! Please contact me if you are considering having a small intimate mountain wedding this Summer!
