So today’s 330 curfew for wide loads found me in Valemont during this beautiful sunny day with some extra free time. I’m normally passing through here in the middle of the night so looking forward to doing some exploring. There’s a turnoff to a Lake about 8 km south of here that I pass all the time that I thought I would check out called Kinbasket Lake. Turns out that it’s a 26 km dirt road to the lake but that’s not a problem because I’ve googled it and it looks really... beautiful and it’s totally going to be worth the drive. There are three campgrounds on this lake and it’s apparently managed by the fisheries department. The first three photos are what I saw online of the lake I was going to see and the remaining photos are my photos of today’s adventure.

Loved that I got to go on a new road for me yesterday. Kootenay Lake by far is one of the most beautifu lakes I’ve seen. The residents around this lake are so fortunate. I wish I was able to stop and enjoy the view.

Okanagan run. So beautiful today. I could easily move here.

I will never get tired of this view!
