2020 -- The year of PAUSE, PAIN and/or PURPOSE This year for many has been a year of Pause. I will admit I was there for a short while. However many pivoted. Sometimes, I feel that I have pivoted to the famous curling term 'Hurry Hard' 2021 -- The year of PURPOSE, PLAN, PRACTICE... Having grown up in poverty and abuse in the Midwest America city of Wichita Kansas. I have traveled far and worked hard to fulfill the purpose of helping the 12 year old girl I once was. To hear all the 12 year old girls out there needing a protector and provide. When I launched my real estate career in '99 this was a driving principle. It was my purpose. I cultivated my practice through community service. Being of support. My primary goal was to create the network and wealth to put into place support and protection for the vulnerable. However, like so many others, I lost my way. I lost my Purpose. As an award-winning real estate agent always in the top 10% and a third of my years in the top 1%, my purpose lost ground to my career. Living in the thought of I am only as good as my last sale stripped the joy out of being of service. The more I lived to that challenge, the further I grew from my purpose. 2020 defogged the lens I have been looking through for nearly 15 years. Rediscovering my Purpose Rediscovering my Purpose and putting voice to it has made 2020 worth it. I am excited to announce the first of many in a series, Women in Real Estate Summit.
