Did you know... From April 1st to 15th, visit your local Sobeys, Safeway or Foodland Ontario to make a donation and provide an opportunity for athletes with an ...intellectual disability to make friends, learn skills and stay healthy. Together, we can help Special Olympics athletes hungry to participate. You can add a donation to your grocery bill, and we would love it if you did! Sobeys has been a supporter of Special Olympics Canada and Special Olympics Ontario and of course, our Kincardine athletes for years now and we are always incredibly grateful for the support from our community! Wouldn’t it be great if there was one place that combined all of the learning tools available to Lions, had the latest links to all the online symposiums and ev...ents you could either attend in person or watch at your own leisure, had news feeds from the most interesting discussions on the Global Lions Forum, had fun and exciting Lions Trivia you could test your knowledge on, had resources and tools to help raise awareness about Campaign 100 and the exciting new TELL-A-THON fundraiser being hosted by VP. Douglas X. Alexander For IP, had a place where you could have an ongoing interactive chat with Lions from around the world as well as a gallery where you could share pictures of your service and fun with others? Thanks to Lions Virtual, there is now an app for that! Join the conversation, download the app, or visit us on our brand new website at https://www.lionsvirtual.org! It’s free, it’s fun, it will help keep us connected and learning together! To install, you first begin by downloading Team App from either the App Store or Google Play store. It has a green T logo. Once you’ve installed that, just search for Lions Virtual. #lionsvirtual #WeServe P.S. You have the ability to turn off notifications for the ongoing chat if you don’t want to have your phone pinged when there is a new conversation. Just click on the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner of the chat to disable them!
