Mother’s Day from West Coast Catering!

Wondering about when the rainbow crosswalk will be repainted for 2021? - once we are back to ‘Green’ - preferably aligning with an existing road closure - summery weather with no rain before or after application... This effort was kudos to the Municipality of Kincardine’s Arts, Culture and Heritage committee, and installed by Visit Kincardine, Lakeside Downtown Kincardine and the Kincardine Chamber of Commerce.

Leading this push we have Nadine VandenHeuvel, Founder and CEO of NV Fitness Conditioning Inc and owner of Kincardine Fit Body Boot Camp, with another location in Goderich. She has nearly 15 years’ experience in the Health and Fitness industry and 12 years of experience of being an entrepreneur. She’s trained thousa...nds of people and mentored dozens of trainers throughout her years of owning her fitness facilities. She and her team have helped hundreds of people meet their fitness goals. A business that began in a grass field back in 2008 laid out the groundwork for an ever-evolving business empire. Nadine has been passionate since then to change the way that fitness was viewed and being done in her local community and beyond, since that day. In 2014, she earned the ‘Inspiring Young Woman in Huron’ award. In 2016 she earned the National title, Personal Trainer of the Year by CanFitPro. Also in 2016, Nadine released her book, which was Co-Authored by Dr. Dan Ritchie, titled Fit Body For Life. In 2017, Nadine became an Independent Certified Coach, Trainer and Speaker with the John Maxwell Team. In 2018, Nadine received the Microage Basics Service Award by Huron Chamber of Commerce. An award that celebrates a business that has demonstrated excellence in customer service leadership on a consistent basis. The business and staff goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction with their service and product. Additionally, Nadine has received many other nominations over the years for Young Entrepreneur and Business of the Year. She currently employs 14 rockstar team members known as her ‘Dream Team’ who serve over 400 members since opening her doors in January 2011. During the pandemic, Nadine created a community initiative to help our community stay healthy and strong while also helping out our local businesses with their Stronger Together 28 Day Trial. They had to very quickly transition their business within 72 hours to run completely online. While other fitness facilities decided to lay off all of their staff and to close down, Nadine knew that they needed to be there for their clients and fitness family when they needed them the most. Nadine has continued to give back throughout the pandemic, taking an active role in supporting other businesses wherever she can.
