The importance of good pre-hab. Pre-jab is short for pre-rehabilitation. It has become widely used in many medical conditions including joint replacements, spinal surgeries, and even cancer surgeries. The effectiveness of pre-hab is all about getting your body as ready for surgery as can be.... Physiotherapists know pre-hab. We see clients before and after surgery. We can help to get your body ready for what comes next. So let’s get to work together.

How does tape help? Tape can be used on practically every part of the body, where it used as a supportive aid. How?... Tape offloads, stabilizes, and protects. Since it is attached to skin, it provides feedback to your body. This feedback reminds you to that the area needs extra support - which you do with your own muscles. Rigid tape works in a different way, it is used mostly to limit movement and support joint structures. Bonus: Special tape application can also help resolve bruising quicker! Our therapists can help tape you up, and get you back to better health. Ask us how in your physio sessions!

What do physiotherapists do? KinCoast Physios see all age groups. They can answer parent questions like:... Is my child on track for their developmental motor milestones? Should I be concerned? What can I do to help them? And they can also answer questions like: How can physiotherapy help my grandparents’ mobility? Can you train balance? What can help my elderly parent stay independent? All KinCoast Physio sessions are 1:1 with a registered physiotherapist who can answer all your questions. We take a detailed history to help your family achieve their goals. A family clinic for all life’s stages.
