So I was thinking I should tell you a little about myself! I was born in Toronto, raised in Mississauga and met my husband (a Newfoundlander by birth) in Peterbrough. The first 17 years of our marriage we lived in Stayner ON, during which time we survived a house fire, had four kids and home schooled them, lived though our son's two brain surgeries, ran a day-care and were busy in our community. We eventually moved to Hamilton and spent eight years in that big city! :) Then i...t was time to look for a bit of land so our youngest could try living her dream....farming. Land in Ontario was a tad out of our price range (that's an understatement!) but being we had family in Tatamagouche (namely Roxy Harris and her crew) we looked and bought some acreage here. That was three years ago. We've crammed a lot into three years but we are looking forward to doing a whole lot more!! The picture is of the day our family grew by one more! My daughter and son-in-law's wedding day two years ago. :) See more
