This is the last thing we see when we leave the store at night. These bright little stars bring so much light and warmth to our place. Of course, there is always a story behind the products we offer @kinderbooks2. ... The story of these Herrnhuter Stars is 160 years old and it started in a small town in Germany near the town where I was born. The first stars were created in boarding schools for children of missionaries. A teacher had this idea to teach geometry and mathematics. This project provided some comfort to the children during the Advent and Christmas season while being separated from their parents who worked as missionaries To this day they are made in Germany and you can see them brighten up the houses during the darker season.
