Whether it’s google, siri or a dictionary when you look up the words dedicated, hard working, loyal, trustworthy, energetic, friend or team player you will find this lady next to each of these words. Colleen has worked at Kinderland since 1988. In 1996 she graduated from NBCC with her diploma in Early Childhood Education. Since that time, she has gained hundreds of hours in continuous training and thousands of hours working with all ages of children. Her heartbeat has and w...ill always be loving and caring for children. As she begins this new chapter into retirement we wish her all the best! Enjoy the time you’ll have to relax, take time to find new hobbies and most of all, no more 5am wake up alarms! From all of the staff, children and parents over the years, Happy Retirement Colleen!

THANK YOU for the kind words on my retirement from Kinderland Daycare After 32 years of working each day at a profession that I loved doing, it will be nice to relax and enjoy being home with Jimmy. Thank you for the gifts and cards they are much appreciated!! Things that I won’t miss... - icey roads - snowstorms - 5 o’clock alarms - the 1 :15 hour drive each morning and afternoon - sometimes packing a suitcase on Sunday for the week ahead - making lunch /supper on Sunday for 5 days, guaranteed whatever you pack on Sunday has little or no taste come Friday LOL - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - These are a few things that I will miss - greeting the infants each morning - chatting with a special co-worker on the early drive from home (Shonna N Jon) - seeing the beautiful sunrise and sunsets - watching the children grow and change each day - the busyness of the day to day schedule that we keep ourselves on or at least try to - meeting new families and their children - ensuing new moms and dads that their child will adjust - when you’re eating something which the infants have in their lunchboxbut won’t eat but want yours. - interacting with other educators - sharing pictures or info with parents and seeing how happy they are at receiving updates each day. During my 32 years, I have worked with a lot of educators and had the privilege of working with 2 amazing Directors, 1988-2001 - Marcie Power and 2001 to present Holly Grace, thank you for your trust and faith in me. Kinderland will always be special to me and the memories will last a lifetime. Thanks again Colleen It’s never good-bye just later

Kinderland Daycare is looking for an energetic, dependable and enthusiastic educator to add to our team. This is a full time permanent position. Duties of the ...position will include planning and implementing meaningful programming in line with the NB Curriculum Framework. You will be responsible for meeting the physical, emotional, and educational needs of the children in your care. We expect our staff to maintain a positive and welcoming attitude each day with children, staff, and parents.
