Happy December everyone! As a reminder the KC only has 3 Thursdays left in our current space We are no longer taking donations & the regular client limits are done. Clients can fill one of our in-store bags of items they need instead.

Looking for things for your kids to do in the April Break? We have a new online adventure premiering every day @ noon during the break to help teach your kids to shine using the kindness they have within them!

Christmas has sprung at The Kindness Centre! We've got lots of decorations ready to find a new home with you. Come by Thursdays from 11am - 2pm to pick up.

There's been some changes to our food program: Clients can pick up food once a month any Thursday we're opened. Please bring ID for every household member. Please note we are no longer opened the 4th Saturday of the month.

As a reminder we are re-opening today! Please remember to bring ID for each household member :)

We're excited to announce we'll be re-opening next Thursday, October 1st. We've missed you all and look forward to being able to see & serve you again! Please note a few changes: - We'll be letting 4 people at a time into the store from the Dalhousie St doors of the mall with 15 minutes to shop. - At this time our Saturday Food Giveaways will not be continuing, instead clients can collect once a month on any Thursday we're opened. ... As always, please bring ID for each member of your household :)

Hello friends, we miss you all dearly! Just a reminder The Kindness Centre is unfortunately still closed and will not have a food giveaway this Saturday :( Friendship House's food bank is opened today until 12pm if you're needing assistance with food. Stay safe and we'll see you again soon.

If you're needing assistance with food during this times Friendship House is opening for an Emergency Food Bank on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 12 noon beginning April 15.

Captain Kindness has a few ideas and ways to engage with Kindness in Brantford (and beyond). 1. Find ways to be creatively (and safely) kind. We'd love to see... them and share them! Shoot us a message or post them and we'll share the kind around! 2. Get involved in The Kindness Project's Food Drive. You'll see 5 locations on this video where you can drop off food for Brantford Food Bank 3. If your kids at home would like a personalized video from Captain Kindness (or you as a parent) as a reminder to be kind during this strange times... send us a message on Facebook and he'll make you a video!

Starting April 5 The Blessing Centre will have pickup dinners available from 5:30pm - 6pm most evenings for the month of April, see calendar in article attached.

We're really sad we couldn't run our food giveaway today and see all our Kindness Centre friends.... If you're trying to figure out what food & meal programs are still operating or how to help during the COVID-19 crisis, the City of Brantford has launched a fantastic initiative called "Brantford neighbours helping neighbours".

Please note that in light of the COVID-19 the Kindness Centre will be closed March 19 & 26. We do hope to continue with the March 28 food giveaway, we'll keep you posted here. In case of emergency clothing or food needs, contact us and we'll do our best to help meet your needs.

We very excited about a new initiative the Brant County SPCA is running! Thanks to them we were able to give away these 20 bags of dog & cat food to our clients over the weekend and will continue to do so at our monthly food giveaways!

A big thank you to the 24th Brantford Brownie Unit for these fantastic Christmas bags full of staple items! We’re really excited to give these away today. Brantford is a great city full of people looking out for each other! #strongcity

Do you have reusable or plastic shopping bags you're not longer needing? The Kindness Centre would gladly take them off your hands. Bring them in while we're opened or to the Freedom House office during the week. Thanks!

Thanks to Sew on Fire Ministries we have lots of coats, hats and mitts to giveaway! We’re opened today from 11am - 2pm and during the food giveaway Saturday from 10am - 12:30pm
