From The Desk of Teaching Pastor Rev. Jean DeDieu January, 2020 Dear friends, ... With grateful hearts we say. Thank you to our God and heavenly Father. Thank you Father for: Sending your only son to die for us that we might be forgiven of our sins. Sending the Comforter, the Holy Spirit Giving us Your Word, the Holy Bible For the power of prayer and the thousands of prayer answered this year. God's provision for us, through You. For those of you who are our faithful partners in the greatest harvest. The Gospel that is our privilege and responsibility to share with everyone. The freedom in our country to share the Gospel without hindrance and fear of authorities. The blessing of knowing we h ave been used by God. God's promise in Isaiah 55:11: So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. All the seafarers the Lord has brought to us to hear His Word. ( God is His divine providence has used cargo as a means to bring seafarers here to hear His word. Although many have come from closed countries where the Word of God is suppressed, they have heard it here in Vancouver! Praise the Lord. During this season, the significance of John 1:14 comes to mind: And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. My mind cannot fully comprehend this: such humility; such a stoop; such love; such unity between the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; such a sacrifice; such a cost; such eternal benefits; such unworthy ones as us. As we meditate upon this, may we sing the Christmas carols with our hearts full of praise to Him who is worthy, Jesus Christ our Lord. As we look forward to 2020 we pray that we would walk humbly before the Lord. May we walk meditating upon and obeying His Word, letting it examine our hearts, bring us repentance, cause us to forgive others, all the while trusting the Lord and praying without ceasing as we serve the seafarers of the world in Word and deed. Thank you your faithful support of Kindness Church of God in countless ways. Without all of you who are involved, we could not do what we are doing. Again, thank you. And to the One who brings the increase, we give praise, honour and glory, yesterday, today and for evermore. Amen. On behalf of the members of Kindness Church of God, we wish you a happy New Year.
