To our Kindness Cookies community - please take a moment to read and reflect. It's a beautiful story - and you're part of it! Kindness Cookies was so honoured to have created a giving-back campaign during the holiday season that supported Hayden's Hope Foundation. We partnered with Hayden's Hope, selling special Angel cookies. Cookie sales went to special friends of Haydens, but our own customers stepped up and bought lots of cookies too! Because of your support purchasing o...ur collection of Hayden's Angels, we raised $470 for the foundation - and then we doubled that on your behalf! Thank you for supporting us - and by extension the projects that we believe in, like Hayden's Hope Foundation.

The busy baking season is over. Kindness Cookies Kitchen is now closed. (We will be working a few more days to fill existing orders.) Many thanks to our customers - from Canada and all over the world! Britain, Australia, Colombia, the United States. Kitchen will reopen January 4th 2021.... Keep well, Stay safe, Share kindness.

The "Kind Collective' has been incredibly successful raising dollars for Mission Services! Another innovative endeavour - rooted in kindness - and making a difference in our community!

This is innovative and exciting - good news for London's agri-food sector. "London will become home to the worlds largest indoor cricket farm with Aspire Food Group opening a 100,000-square-foot plant here that will act as a launch pad to bring bugs, as food, to the North American market." Of course, we'd rather eat COOKIES, but this is a unique opportunity for London and area!

Hello Friends! It's been a while since we last connected this way. We wish we could tell you it's because we've been up to some exciting projects like feeding a sourdough starter or learning the proper way to cut hair. Nope, that didn't happen! We've continued to follow Covid-19 restrictions, and each of us has somehow managed to fill the days with a variety of activities. But there were days when neither of us felt like doing much, so a whole lot of nothin' seemed to happen.... Joanne's favourite new phrase has become "allostatic load" ~ described as "the psychological reason for our pandemic brain fog." Can you relate? However in the midst of those brain-foggy days we continued to be filled with gratitude for our health and the health of our loved ones. We're so thankful. Looking back over the past many months, so much has changed in our world. Locally, nationally, and internationally ~ there have been many momentous, historic and world-changing events. And we're trying to be very aware of the impact that so many challenging situations have had on family, friends, communities and strangers everywhere. We imagine that like us, you're experiencing a wide range of feelings and emotions, not the least of which are ~ worry, anger, confusion, anxiety and sadness. We hope you've found ways to "keep calm and carry on" and that you've experienced moments of peace, joy and kindness. Now that some of the restrictions are easing we're ready to begin baking Kindness Cookies for you and your loved ones. We believe that now more than ever, acts of kindness can bring unexpected pleasure and happiness to others. So ~ we'd love to bake on your behalf and deliver or ship cookies to your special people, sending kindness in a cookie box. Even though you can't get together with all of your dear family and friends quite yet, it's a good time to send them some love ~ and we all know cookies are a tasty way of saying "I love you and I miss you". We dont know what to expect as our city, province and country begin to re-imagine business, community, education and health-care. But we're hopeful the kindness momentum that has been happening during these difficult weeks will continue to grow and flourish. Thank you for your support and your friendship. Remember when you had to be home, in one room, near the phone on the cord, in order to make a call? Now we can call from just about anywhere with cordless house phones and mobile cellphones. Sitting in one place, chatting on the phone, present just for that call is still kinda nice. Don't try to make dinner, fold laundry or drive. Just sit and call. Tell us how that goes.
