What is a Certified Canadian Pedorthist? As per the Pedorthic Association of Canada, Canadian Certified Pedorthists (C. Ped(C)) are orthotic and orthopaedic footwear experts. Specifically, they are specialists trained in postural analysis, movement patterns, and musculoskeletal examination.... They are also trained in the design and manufacturing of custom foot orthoses as well as the selection, fit, and modification of footwear. At Kinemedics, we have two Certified Canadian Pedorthists on staff. We utilize our knowledge of bracing, biomechanics and anatomy to develop appropriate treatment plans for all of our clients. By carrying a vast variety of products and supports, we are able to cater our treatment plans to the needs of the patient.
