Hello! As many of you may already know, I am Brieanne Bruneau, in house Massage Therapist at KineticallyWhole Therapies (KWT) located at Norak CrossFit. I am a 21 year old who goes by her/she & my journey into my current career started after my 1st year of university didn't spark joy the way I thought it would. I realized the human body intrigued me which lead me to the field of massage therapy. ... I eagerly applied into the program offered by Evolve College of Massage Therapy & I was thoroughly impressed with the education I received! Although COVID-19 put a huge bump in the road to graduating, with many long quarantine days studying with online lectures & zoom calls, we officially were able to graduate, August 2020. I began working alongside my sister Tiffanie, Manual Osteopath at KWT. Working in this clinic, facility & environment has been my dream since I started school 2 years ago. Our health & well being is full circle in that it takes many avenues of care to be whole. Being a massage therapist within facility of fitness & health professionals I believe in, & want to grow with has made the choice to work at KWT an easy one. Now that I have graduated, I’ve been able to pick up a few of my old hobbies, that I put aside to spend my hours learning. I love to play the yukele (ps. I am not very good), going on hikes & exploring all that Manitoba has to offer. I have an adorable nephew & niece that get posted on this page sometimes with whom I spend much of my free time with as well. I have created a passion for fitness & self care as my years unfolded through massage therapy schooling, that I am truly so grateful for. & last but not least, my future plans include travelling the world (thanks #covid) during the slower seasons of my career. Covid-19 & KWT With the rising numbers of positive covid-19 cases occurring in Winnipeg, we wanted to take a moment to emphasize the guidelines we here at Kinetically Whole Therapies have been applying & will continue to apply during our time as a red restricted zone. As is our usual treatment protocol, prior to each & every appointment, we sanitize & clean all areas that have been touched or potentially touched by either our therapist or previous client. ... Please know the following: - Masks must be worn upon entry to the facility & during the duration of your appointment. - Please enter the building only moments before your scheduled appointment time. Due to the nature of our facility, there is no wait area for you. - You may also text your therapist when you arrive & they can message back when they are ready for you. - When you enter the facility, ensure you wait to cross the gym space until someone directs you OR your therapist comes/waves to you. Let that person know if you need the washroom first. If you plan to attend your scheduled appointment, please be aware: - You must be 24 hours symptom free with a negative COVID test if you did have symptoms. - If you have been in direct contact with a positive case & test negative yourself, you are still required to isolate for 14 days. - Living with or being in direct contact within 48 hours with someone who has been recommended for testing requires you to isolate until those results are received.
