URGENT: COVID-19 Pandemic Due to the recent declaration of a Public Health Emergency in Alberta, as well as the Canadian Physiotherapy Association's recommendation that all non-urgent community-based physiotherapy appointments be cancelled, we have made the difficult decision to TEMPORARILY CLOSE OUR BUSINESS for the time being. All currently booked appointments have been cancelled at this time, and all current clients will be contacted to book in again when it is safe and r...ecommended to do so. For tips on how to reduce fall risk in seniors, and how to "fall-proof" your home, see the following article. https://www.physiotherapyalberta.ca//falls_are_not_a_norma

It's a part of the body many people don't think about, or maybe even know exists, until it starts not doing its job." https://www.cbc.ca//it-s-time-to-break-the-taboo-around-pe

People can easily find accurate and evidence-based information that allows them to become more informed when making personal choices about their health and health care. However, the internet, and especially social media, also allows for the wide-spread and rapid dissemination of information regardless of its accuracy or the evidence behind the information provided."
