An update, from King & North: A little over a month ago now, the brand of chocolate I used was named in a lawsuit alleging that they used forced child labour to grow their chocolate. Many companies were named, and I was shocked to see the one I deal with on the list. The cocoa industry has deep colonialist roots, and as a white person in this space, I try to be very aware of my impact. As a mostly one-person business, my supply chain is the main place I can make changes and d...o social good. Because of this, over the past month I’ve been working behind the scenes to change chocolate companies, and I’m very excited to announce that going forward, I will exclusively be sourcing my chocolate from @valrhonausa . They are strongly committed to slave-free chocolate. Not in the future, but now. They work directly with their farmers and all of their chocolate is traceable and of the highest quality. What does this mean for you? It means you can continue to feel good about buying our products. I work hard to make sure I source ingredients and supplies as ethically and sustainably as I can. This is an ongoing process, and I’m always open to guidance or suggestions. Being a chocolatier, however, chocolate is my biggest ingredient, and I’m happy to be able to confidently say it’s sourced ethically. You’ll be seeing a small price increase across my products to account for this. Bars will be going from $8 to $9, but I think a one dollar increase is well worth it. I hope you do too.

The closest you can get to a tropical shore right now. Orange infused dark chocolate with orange blossom toasted coconut. This is one of my fav bars to date. It’s deliciously juicy and lush, and is absolutely crushable. Find it in our shop update tomorrow, March 27, at 4pm!

Sunshine, but make it cookie. This is one of my favourite cookies to make, and I’m so excited to share it with you! Orange, almond, and white chocolate. It tastes like warm rays and beach days. Available in boxes of 6 in our store update March 27! Delivery only.

I’m not yolkin’ around, these are delicious. Classic crème egg flavour, but with nicer chocolate and beautiful flecks of real vanilla bean. Oh, also, they’re vegan. And gluten-friendly. CINNAMON TOAST I just wanna be cozy right now, you know? So I dreamed up this sweet lil truffle filled with a cinnamon & toast white chocolate ganache. It’s everything I wanted, and you can have it! Tomorrow (Saturday) at 3pm. Shop restock. Be there!

Toast & Orange I am so, so proud of this bar!! Milk chocolate with toasted sourdough from Birdies Bread Co. and a blend of natural orange oils. Like toast with marmalade in an edible form.

You don’t need to smack this to enjoy it, but I won’t stop you. Candied citrus, natural orange oil, and a dark chocolate that already had citrus notes all make for a perfect chocolate & orange experience. SHIPPING!! We will have Canada-wide shipping available Monday for our shop update! This is new to us, so please be patient and bear with us in this. We will only have it available for about a week, and from my (generous) estimates that should have all parcels arriving ahead of Christmas, for those who celebrate.... Not all items will be available (for shipment). Things like cookies and Trillionaires have a short shelf life and I just don’t feel comfortable shipping them. As well, everything will be very safely wrapped in bubble wrap as our bars are very fragile and we want them to arrive in one piece! I’d love to look into more eco-conscious packing materials in the new year, so if this is something you have experience with, please shoot me a message! And if you have any questions or concerns about shipping, please message to ask before Monday!

Well, this is definitely the biggest thing I’ve done yet. HOLIDAY CHOCOLATE BOXES! Each box contains 16 individual chocolates in a variety of flavours. From King & North favourites to holiday exclusives you’ll only find in this box, there’s a little bit of everything.... Tomorrow I’ll let you know where you can find these beauties! Santa wishes he had cookies like these! Candy Cane Crunch: It’s our regular cookie dough, amped up with all natural peppermint, more chocolate chips, and crushed candy cane.
