Basement complete!! What a change!! Another happy client, and can't wait to have us back!

Two flooring projects wrapped up!! (Little holiday pun) With the holidays fast approaching we moved as fast as we could and got these two flooring projects started and finished in a few days! First one was to freshen up a living room that our client was unhappy with, especially the flooring and how it reflected the lights! ( see pic one), after installing this beautiful laminate the client took it upon herself to paint the room before putting furniture back in!! She is s...uper happy with the way her living room looks and loves her new flooring! The second was a previous client of ours that is now getting out of the city! Jealous!! But they wanted to get rid of the carpet in the family room to clean it up before listing! After removal of the carpet came to find the tiling in either threshold was about 1" taller than the subfloor, after some leveling and underlayment installed the flooring was ready to go in! Thank you to all of our clients for this past year! It's been a blast working with all of you, and I look forward to working with all of you and our new clients in the years to come. Basement project in Mississauga coming along, finally got a terrific helper on board and things are moving alot faster now!! The quote " I knew I was on the right plan because it stopped being easy, I'm tired as shit!!" Really sticks with me, not because I'm tired as shit (inevitable) but because progression does not happen in your comfort zone, get uncomfortable now to be comfortable later... learn something new and go all in.

Probably the best part of tiling!! And I had a crowd for this one Especially after sitting in a parking lot for and hour waiting on materials... This is a great stress relief and always puts a smile on my face lol... Clean up kinda sucks though, they go everywhere.

Last bit of framing, a bunch of other stuff and this hearing clinic will be ready to go servicing the Kleinberg area

When installing new flooring around preexisting cabinetry, always keep appliances in mind! One minute the they all fit and the next thing you know, none of them do! 'Kody, you just buy a tile with the correct thickness to accommodate this issue.' Well let me tell you, that CANNOT always be avoided. Fear not, problem solved! We kept the same cabinet line for symmetry and for proper ventilation of the fridge. The cabinet doors open fully now and don't interfere with the fridg...e door hinge caps. What would I do without my amazing cabinetry designer and partner, @samgramdesigns. Also don't mind the crooked cabinet doors, picture was taken before adjustments. Sam wouldnt approve.

Crawling through a foot of insulation probably more.. in a tight space, getting poked in the head by nails and covered in itchiness, making sure ventilation, insulation, and attic are all in good shape for another year of thawing and weird canadian weather! Also put some supports up for ceiling fans.

The Brace family’s Basement/Den Reno is complete! First I’d like to thank Alan-Dale Brace for being the best clients you can have!! They were very understanding and helpful throughout the process. From start to finish this was an enjoyable process and leaving the clients with a sense of satisfaction and smiles on everyone’s face is good enough for me! We are always happy to take on those projects our clients ‘needed done yesterday’ and will do whatever we can to get it finished ASAP!!
