Phase 2 of our school expansion project includes the addition of over 3,600 SF of classrooms by attaching 5 modular buildings to an existing structure that were constructed off site and installed by ATCO. The buildings are amalgamated by blending the interior and exterior finishes and extending the deck around the building perimeter. This modular building solution reduces the time spent on site and impact on the students who are in class during construction #modularconstruction #brocktonschool #northvan

As part of a major renovation we worked closely with our client to have this set of eight, ten foot high wind chimes custom fabricated by a Chime Master in the UK, shipped to West Vancouver and then embed into concrete pads configured in a half ellipse. Here is our latest 400 Amp electrical service installation on a new build. These are becoming much more common with the rise in popularity of electric car chargers, and the need to be able to charge multiple electric vehicles simultaneously. A 400 A service requires special equipment such as the pictured Hydro meter and main disconnect switch combination unit, along with much larger electrical panels. While over the last decade it has been standard for a new single family hom...e to have a 200A service, 10 years from now it will become standard for a new single family home to have a 400A service. Hi everyone! Paul here. I wanted to share a little story about what my family and I were up to the last few weeks. It all starts with a young woman from my church, St Andrews & St Stephens Presbyterian, named Rebecca Rausch. While volunteering at a hospital in Kisii, Kenya, Rebecca stumbled upon the opportunity to help even more by creating a pre-school for the underprivileged children living there. With the help of Rebecca and support from the St Andrews & St Stephens Presby...terian Church community, the school is able to feed the children, provide them basic medical support, and teach them the basics needed to move on to elementary school. After years of watching the school help countless children, my family and I were finally able to make the trip from North Vancouver to Kenya to lend a hand ourselves. Thank you to Rebecca and supporters for making the New Hope Education Center possible.

Our Passive House build in Fort Langley is a new personal best for air tightness! One of the sustainable features of a home built to the Passive House standard is an airtight seal that ensures the home will maintain optimal temperature and save money and energy on heating and cooling. We performed the first round of air blower door tests on our Fort Langley build and it scored 3x better the requirement for a Passive House and we aren't even finished yet! Great job to everyone involved.

Our Princess St. project started as a simple mudroom upgrade and before we knew it we were asked to renovate the entire home! The renovation included a gorgeous kitchen and great room with NANA folding glass walls that lead to a new covered deck made out of 95% recycled materials. Other sustainable elements include high-performance windows, airtight envelope, above code insulation, and a heat recovery ventilator. http://bit.ly/2UjYjhm
