Now that the river has been raised to lake level, there is a beaver highway under our footbridge.

First campfire sausages of the season! We are clearing brush from around the house as a fire break in case of summer dry spells.

We can canoe to Georgian Bay in the spring when the river is deep.

Trail cam Tuesday! This is a squirrel feeder in the form of a horse head puppet. Apparently this mouse is an Olympic gymnast.

Beaver dam! Our river has grown deep and wide, so we hiked down to see what the beavers have been working on. Yikes.

The chapel's picture window overlooks a little pond - tranquil contemplation.

At Kingfisher Crossing we believe in creation care: line-dried laundry, light roof to reflect heat, composting, seedlings in boxes to be planted in the garden, solar panels, environmentally friendly cleaners...
