Bentley completed our 4 week board and train program and did such an amazing turn around! When Bentley first came to us, he was terrified of everything, loud noises, cars driving by, the thought of him having to interact with strange people or dogs, heck even a leaf dropping on the ground. We helped boost his confidence and brought out the happy, obedient puppy that was inside of him itching to come out. We showed Bentley that he wasn’t going to be forced into any interacti...ons that he did not want and taught him to walk with confidence! It’s only been a week since the stay at home order’s been in place, we’re already missing all our private clients This is Echo and his owners! Bark on command! A very fun, yet easy command to teach! Especially if you have a high drive dog such as a Shepard. A great command to help bring more drive into obedience, and no just because a dog can bark on command does NOT mean you have a protection dog or that your dog will bite for real. Only 1 of these 4 dogs will actually bring the fight for real and I bet you wouldn’t guess which one either. It’s a Presa Paradise! Although we have all 4 of these dogs in the same room together believe it or not they all REALLY don’t get along. With good training and proper structure you’re able to have even the most dog aggressive dogs in the world right next to each other. No this does not mean these dogs enjoy being loose and playing with each other. As a matter of fact these dogs really hate one another with the exception of the male. Just because your dog doesn’t get along w...ith other dogs doesn’t mean there’s no hope, reach out to a trainer, create accountability with your dog and let your dog live the life it deserves! Roxy completed our 3 week board and train course well over a year ago and came back for a week of boarding with us. Her owners had asked if we can convert her to full off leash obedience in that week. This was something that could potentially be a challenge seeing how we haven’t worked with this dog in well over a year. It appears that Roxy’s owners kept up with all of the obedience making it quite easy to transition her to full off leash obedience! It’s important that you... stay on top of your dogs obedience even after it has completed training. A lot of people think once their dog has completed training some where that it’s gonna come back perfect. Now that can be the case however you still need to keep on top of all the obedience and show your dog that your gonna hold it to the same accountability level that we did other wise your dog can start to revert back into its old (bad) habits.
