(990 to be more precise but either way that is a huge number; record-breaking in fact for the month. Compared to 2019's 619 properties sold we were up nearly 60%! ... A quick breakdown for you: CONDOS...UP over 70.8% with 304 units trading hands SINGLE FAMILY... up 53.1% with 487 homes sold With this pace, it's NOT surprising inventory is having a hard time keeping up. We have nearly 20% fewer properties to choose from at months end compared to Last October and down by 11.2% from last month... Anyone have a house they want to sell? The market is begging for you ;) I don't think the "why" we are seeing this has changed but rather continues with perhaps a shift on the "pent up demand" from our Covid Lockdown times and more so on the ongoing low-interest rates and more buyers trying to get settled prior to a winter season full of lots of unknowns pandemic wise and economy-wise.
