Trail Adventures Animal Search- April 22 MOK's Trail Adventures continues this Thursday as we visit the Bigelow Trail in Canning in search of native animals. We will be meeting at the Glooscap Arena Parking lot at 10am which is located.at 1051 J Jordan Rd. To ensure we get lots of action we will be placing pictures of animals throughout the trail.... Waterville Youth Facility Pool Update The Municipality and the Waterville Youth Facility have made the difficult decision to keep the pool closed until at least September 2021. Safety continues to be our top priority for both the facility and the Municipality so we are being very cautious. Please stay tuned for further updates throughout the summer months.... Trail Adventures is Back! MOK's Trail Adventures program is back again starting Thursday April 15 at 10am at the Centreville Park located at 1042 Sherman Belcher Rd. Trail Adventures is nature based play program open to pre-school and home school families where we visit local parks and trails to explore and have fun.... April Trail Visit Challenge The MOK Rec Team is back with another outdoor challenge! For the month of April we are challenging you to visit some of Kings County's most beautiful trails. Its easy- visit a trail on the below bingo card and "X" a box off. If you don't recognize a trail visit www.valleyconnect.ca and do a quick search. When you have a line take a picture and send it to 902-599-1556 or email it to [email protected] to be entered into a draw for a $25 gift card of your choice. We'll even add an extra ballet for the draw if you send a picture of you visiting a trail not on our list!

Family Drop-In If you are looking for something to do on Wednesday's from 2:00pm-3:30pm check out the Family Drop-In at the Credit Union Recreation Complex. Cost is $5 per family and soccer balls are provided however feel free to bring your own equipment. Pre-registration is required so please contact Melissa at 902-678-2426 or email [email protected]. Note all safety protocols are in place including masks until on the field, hand sanitizer, and a maximum # in the facility.
