Good morning! Our group called and cancelled their workshop this morning due to the freezing rain. We fully support that decision and will happily rebook them next weekend and hope for better weather. We encourage all of our attendees to use prudent judgement about driving in poor conditions. Remember, in the country the conditions may be quite different than in town. Please stay safe and enjoy the upcoming holidays.

Gorgeous day to start making wreaths for Rideau Hall.

Wreathing workshops start November 13 through December 12th Saturday and Sundays morning and afternoon session. Corporate groups arranged weekdays on demand. December 18/19 centerpiece workshops. Call to reserve a session for yourself or your group.

Someone has hacked my Kings CreekTrees email server. When I attempted to resolve it, I received a demand for money for what has since 2007 a free service. So I have opened a new email account with Google. [email protected]

Take a peak at our new workshop configuration. Workshops start next Saturday November 14th. The morning workshop is booked but the afternoon is open as is Sundays. Mornings are starting at 8 and afternoons start at 1:30 to give us time to disinfect the area. If you prefer to have us make your wreath, we will be delighted to. Remember to wear your mask!

Due to COVID we are reconfiguring the workshop to provide physical distancing. Unfortunately that means that we can only accommodate a maximum of 10 participants at each workshop. Additionally, we will need to start earlier for the morning workshops at 8 am and later for afternoon workshops at 1:30 pm to allow us to clean and disinfect the area between groups. Each work station will have their own bins of each type of greens, glue guns and other materials. We ask that everyone wears masks while attending the workshop. If anyone would like a wreath but is concerned about attending, please let us know and we will make your wreath for you and arrange for either outdoor pickup or delivery.

We have openings both Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Join the party and make a beautiful wreath. Keep it for yourself or gift it to someone else.

Hosted our first day of wreathing season 2019 today. Small groups but such creativity. The gentle snow put us all in the mood.

I am delighted to get the honour of making the big wreaths for the Governor General's mansion gates for the third year. I am also supplying their Christmas trees as well as the Prime Minister's trees again this year. The Governor General's residence will be open to the public for visitors to enjoy their decorations. Check for their holiday opening hours. Perhaps skate at the outdoor rink. Here I am with one of last year's.

One of our four foot diameter wreaths for the gates at Rideau Hall, the Governor General's residence delivered this morning. Stop by and see them this weekend.

Ordering flowers and plants for a hanging basket and urns workshop the weekend before the May 24, Victoria Day weekend. That would be the weekend of May 10,11, and 12. The 12th is Mother's Day so bring your mother along for an outing. Let me know what flowers and foliage plants you like for your baskets and ursn so I can order them now.
