Wishing a peaceful and blessed Ramadan to those observing this holy month of fasting. While we know this Ramadan will be different having to be away from loved ones your compassion and care for others is what keeps you united.

Learning Development & Success collaborated with Western International and Student Central at Western University to gather the top ten online study and exam tip...s to help you get ready for finals next week! You're in the home stretch of a wild year, and you've GOT THIS 1. Organize your study notes using the main themes, theories, and concepts that will be covered in the exam. If you have questions, contact your professor or TA in advance of the exam. 2. Complete practice questions or re-do past midterms or quizzes, if available. 3. Double-check time zones so you know your exam start time in your current time zone (if you're writing from outside of London, ON) 4. Ensure you're well rested before the exam and have a snack and water handy while you write. You'll also want to keep your ID nearby. If you don't have a Western ONE card, use any government issued ID and cover all information except your photo and name. 5. Charge your computer, close all other programs, update any out of date software, check your browser settings to ensure attachments can be opened, ensure cookies and javascript are enabled, and if using Proctortrack, uninstall the application after each use. 6. Test your internet connection and your microphone and webcam if required, and verify that the exam system and tools are functioning. You can also make note of who to contact in case of tech issues. If using Proctortrack, onboard as often as necessary and get support with the Western Exam Chat Support tool in your OWL class. 7. Set up a quiet workspace where your roommates or family members are aware you're writing an exam so you won't be interrupted or distracted. 8. Prioritize and plan your exam time based on the total number of questions and their grade value. 9. Read the exam questions and answer requirements carefully, and save your answers frequently. 10. Review your written answers if time permits to ensure accuracy and avoid grammar errors. Western University International and Exchange Student Centre at Western (IESC at Western)
