This is a photo we took earlier in the year when the Rideau Canal started to open up for boaters. Upon reflection, we consider ourselves pretty lucky to call Kingston and the 1000 Islands our home. From Lake Ontario, to the St. Lawrence River, to the Rideau System, its truly a boater’s paradise around here. Although it can feel like a long wait to get back on the water all winter, it's certainly worth it!
