He was buried in a humble grave with a simple wooden cross. Wild poppies bloomed between the crosses marking the many graves. The next day, unable to help his friend or any of the others who had died, Dr. McCrae gave them a voice through this poem. . . . Remembering all those who have made sacrifices, especially those who gave their lives, so that the rest of us can live in freedom. Thank you.

Happy Monday! Look at this amazing intricate kitchen tile! Would you believe me if I told you that this isn't tile... It's sheet vinyl! I feel like sheet vinyl has gotten a bad rap over the years. I don't know if people just associate the term with the old waxy floor they covered up in their kitchen last summer or what. But like anything else, sheet vinyl has come a long way in the last 20 years! ... Today's sheet vinyl comes in a wide range of patterns including stone, tile, mosaics and wood. The attention to detail can make it really hard to tell the difference between it and the real thing. It's really great for bathrooms, kitchen and laundry rooms, but the possibilities with this product can be endless. Do you have a mudroom that's always wet or an RV that needs a little sprucing up? Fun Fact: People often call sheet vinyl "linoleum". Linoleum is actually a sheet product that is made from linseed oil and other various natural products. Sheet vinyl is a synthetic floor made of mostly PVC. While linoleum is natural and durable, it's limited in its design, doesn't do well with water and can be pricey. Sheet vinyl on the other hand is completely waterproof, very versatile and budget friendly.
