PSA: Just a reminder the school season is starting and school buses are back on the road. Obey activated lights and be cautious when approaching a stopped bus. Remember there will be a lot more children close to roads during pick up and drop off times. Failing to stop for a school bus with lights activated comes with a minimum fine of $490 for a first offence.

Kingston Military Police want to remind people during the heat wave how dangerous it is to leave children or pets in vehicles

Recently, Military Police in Kingston have received complaints of vehicle break-ins in the early hours of the morning in the RHU area. We recommend you ensure your vehicles are locked when not in use and you should not leave anything of value inside your vehicle unattended. If you observe someone around your vehicle acting suspiciously please call the Dispatch at 613-541-5010 extension 2044.

PSA: It appears the coyotes are back in the area. This one was spotted this morning near the KMFRC. Kingston Military Police want to remind residents in the RHU's to be aware the coyotes are in the area and to be cautious when young children and small animals are outside in your yards.
