Hey gang, King continues! Paul Cooney has put together a fun training program to keep us riding this season. If you have questions contact us here or Paul at [email protected]... I am.offering a 6 or 8 week regular cycling opportunity to bridge this group to the winter season. As it gets dark early we will need lights. I prefer to do my night riding offroad so it will require a mountain bike or cross bike. You wont need a super high end one or advanced skills as we can keep to very "untechnical" trails. Instead of a "ride" it will look more like a "workout". One example would involve a simple 5 to 6 minute loop that includes a 1 minute hill. We group up and ride the loop super slow, have conversation, and chill. Then everyone crushes the hill at their personal max pace. Group up, ride the loop slow, recover and prep to hit the hill again. So it looks like a 7 or 8 x 1min max interval workout. Very similar to what i do during my indoor winter sessions. There are no fees for this as I will be working out too. First workout is next Tuesday.
