Snowy morning on the farm! Happy horses.
Finally got all 4 of us from Kinley Farm out on a group trail ride today!! Lots of fun, obstacles and brave horses... Mica wasn’t the only horse headed home sweating!
We have a variety of garlic. $8 and $10 per pound. Message any interest.
Foggy sunrise over the lake this morning
Hali’a, Mica, Coquette, Sophie and EBay all settling in nicely to their summer pastures ... and filling those bellies with copious amounts of grass
Welcome EBay!! The only gelding with a farm full of mares... he’s a happy boy
Mica: Begging at the door for supper... she must have been raised by labs
GARLIC - loved by Evelyn, loved by all around the farm
Caption this! Just introduced these three together yesterday. EBay (the only gelding on the farm) standing quietly in the shade while Mica and Coquette are prancing around!
Opened up another section of pasture this evening, happy horse bellies!!
Coquette and Mica have become fast friends :)

Soaking wet but had a great morning on the farm! Finished putting the sides on a pasture shelter we built 2 years ago and tested all the electric lines for the pastures. All ready for the horses move out to pasture tomorrow morning :)
Welcome EBay!! The only gelding with a farm full of mares... hes a happy boy
Mica and Coquette had a play date yesterday! Coquette will be joining us for summer pasture starting in June. She has come over a few times just to get used to the place, get some belly fills of grass, and introduce to her new pasture-mate, Mica. They are a great pair of mares! Very relaxed around each other and both have their eating priorities first
Sophie, Mica and Halia
Happy mares... with a view :)
Drop apples picked from the horse pastures after the hurricane, free for the taking! Lots more in the orchard as well. (Wheel barrow not included )
Can never have enough garlic!!
Great crew got all our hay in last night!! Thanks for all your help!
Starting to feel like summer!! Warm and relaxing trail ride with our girls this morning
Welcome Sophie!!!! Mica has a new pasture mate for the summer and they really hit it off! 3 cheers for big-boned mares
Silly Orwell!! (Wellie)
Cuteness alert!!! In the wee early hours this morning, Femke delivered a healthy and outrageously strong colt! Hes already got a big personality and his mama loves him dearly
Sarah Michelle and Halia had a great session in the round pen on this beautiful Sunday morning!
Until the pastures are ready Mica will have to make due with the frustrating entertainment that is a hay bag
Summer is coming...
Check out Femkes baby belly!!! We are all eagerly anticipating a cute long-legged foal in May
The Kinley Farm Manager kept us all in line during our meeting with the accountant this morning, she runs a pretty tight ship! (Thank you to Megan Crouse for her uniform )
Mica caught snoozing in the winter sun
Daddys sidekick!!
Storm? What storm? Horses dont care!
Merry Christmas to all (2 legged and 4 legged!) from Kinley Farms newest little worker bee!! Although, Evelyn Rose Kinley slept through her first shift, she made sure mom still got the stalls cleaned
The 4 girls are glowing in the afternoon sunlight beaming into the stalls!
Checking out the new digs!!
Some in preparation for moving the horses back to the barn paddocks, weve had some machinery in improving pasture drainage, removing mucky ground and laying a nice rock bed outside all of the stalls and main alleyway. No scratches this year!
We had a very productive weekend getting the stalls back in place for the change in seasons! Hard to believe that just weeks ago this was full of beautifully decorated tables for a wedding The horses will be moving over to their winter paddocks here by the barn next weekend.
On September 29th, Kinley Farm hosted yet another beautiful wedding! The decorations were the perfect blend of elegance and farm rustic. (Of course the photos hardly do it justice!) Congratulations to Mr & Mrs. Ian and Soleil Mitchell
