Long Overdue Partner Update: We admit we aren’t great, or even good, at this social media stuff. We will try harder. We have now fully recovered from our devastating flood in May and we are so grateful for the support of all of our clients who returned for therapy despite the uncertainty in our community and the world. We continue to make safety our first and foremost priority so we may continue to provide a service we feel is critical to our mental and physical health, our... immunity and our sense of community. Thank you for believing in us and supporting our small business. This Christmas season we will once again be collecting donations for the Fill-a-Crib campaign. Even though the campaign has moved to a virtual platform we will accept donations and personally deliver items to the Infant Food Bank. We have set up a play pen in the entrance and we are ready to accept donations. In addition, this year we will also accept donations for the Edgar Burton Food Bank. Donations may be monetary or food staples. This year, more than all others before us, the need is much greater to both infant and food bank organizations. Please give generously. I'd add... pray for a little luck too. Because even when hard work and great strategy come together, stuff like COVID-19 can happen. Which may force you to start all over again.

Everyone was hard at work today placing equipment, moving boxes and cleaning the ever present drywall dust! The gym floor has been painted for now and the rubber floor will be installed mid to late July. We are ready and excited to welcome you back this coming Monday! Have a great weekend!

More great news! We are happy to introduce Lyne Lemieux, Registered Physiotherapist, who will join our Kinnect team when we re-open on June 29th! Lyne set up her room and was ready to see patients days before we were advised to close in March due to Covid. Lyne has over 10 years of clinical experience and she specializes in myofascial techniques such as dry needling and cupping, athletic/support taping, as well as, individualized exercise prescription. Great news! All the work has been coordinated and we will definitely be ready to open on June 29th! All of our current clients will be contacted and an email sent regarding the infection control procedures we have put in place to protect you upon your return for treatment. We are very excited to welcome you back!

Repair Update: Painting of all the gym and office walls was completed this morning! Next we need to coordinate flooring and desk/equipment delivery. We anticipate that we will be on track to open some time between June 22nd and 29th. Our full time staff returned to work yesterday and we are so glad we are all back together. We will be offering virtual services until such time that the clinic is ready to be re-opened.
