--- Kinova's growth would not be possible without each employee's contribution, that's why we start, as of today, to share with you their testimonials. Olivier 'Oli' has the honor to start: Working at Kinova is to work for a high technology company that is proudly from Quebec. Thanks to its revolutionary products, we can allow individuals, researchers and companies to change the way they perform daily-living tasks, or operational tasks while allowing me the chance to stand in the front seat to witness tomorrow's technologies. Working at Kinova is both having a chance to ‘travel in the future’ and to help people achieve the extraordinary. Due to Kinova's continuous input to our society, I can say that I'm proud to be a Kinovian.

From nuclear waste management to suspicious packages, without forgetting natural disasters and remote inspection. Robots are there to help us out, because risking hardware instead of human lives is always a good thing. In this article learn more about the hazardous environments where robots are being used or will be used one day. Also, tell us in the comments about what dangerous tasks you think should be done by a robot while being supervised (or not) by a human. For our 2nd (and last) Innovator Spotlight of 2020, this time, Henny Admoni from the Carnegie Mellon Robotics Institute - RI at Carnegie Mellon University tells us how she works towards helping robots better understand the human behaviors. In this interview, we dive deep into her early career path and what led her to the human-machine interaction (HRI) field of work. From her high school interests for eye gaze to her presentation at the World Economic Forum in Davos, this figurehead of human-robot interaction and social robotics research will not leave you indifferent that's for sure.
