It was a rough week here at the farm this week but after a few days of introspection we are back to our regularly scheduled programming for April Cocktail Month! And it turns out today is Gin&Tonic day! So here is our variation on this theme - just looking at it makes us long for the the Ontario strawberries that will be here soon. 1.5oz Juniper's Wit Gin... 3oz to 4oz Fever Tree Aromatic tonic 2 to 4 dashes Hibiscus Rosehip Bitters Strawberries and mint for garnish Slice some strawberries, if they are getting too jammy from too much sun you can muddle them as well. Add them to a high ball filled with ice. Add gin, top with tonic and then add bitters. Garnish with mint, preferably one that you have just plucked from the garden where it has taken over everything. Enjoy! #cocktails #craftcocktails #ginandtonic #ginandtonicday #gincocktails #cocktailmonth

It truly felt like spring outside today... And with that I always think about cherries, my second favorite fruit after apricots of course, and the Cherry Bomb cocktail bubbled up to the top of the list for today. It is both herbaceous and fruity and floral while holding its own when it comes to ABV. It is a great sipper for those evenings when you want to have one special drink. Ingredients 1 1/4 oz Woodland’s Whisper Pine Vodka... 1/4 oz Kvas Cherry Hibiscus syrup 2 dashes Kinsip Hibiscus Rosehip bitters 2 dashes Kinsip Ginger Bitters 1 wedge Lemon How to In mixing glass filled with a scoop of ice, combine all ingredients and lemon edge and muddle well. Strain into a Coupe glass and 2 dashes of each of the bitters. Garnish with a whisky cherry. #cocktails #cocktailmonth #cocktailclub

In the mood for all the classics at the beginning of our Cocktail Month. A favorite around here but also at the Breezeway Bar an old fashioned with our Cooper's Revival Rye and our whisky barrel aged maple syrup is what we need to cap off most evenings with... Also comes in a kit with all the bits and pieces - just add ice. We have the icecube trays too. Ingredients 2 oz. Cooper’s Revival Rye Whisky 0.5 oz Kinsip Whisky Barrel Aged Maple Syrup ... 2 dashes House Aromatic Bitters 2 dashes Orange Bitters How to Fill a mixing glass with ice. Pour syrup followed by Cooper’s Revival Rye Whisky. Stir vigorously with a bar spoon for 15 seconds. Place a large ice cube in rocks glass and then strain over them. Add 2-4 dashes of House bitters and Orange bitters. Garnish with an orange peel. Enjoy!
