Kinsmen Club of Chesley 16.05.2021

The Chesley Kinsmen hosted their Zone J conference last night. All five clubs in the Zone, Chesley and Walkerton Kinettes and the Walkerton, Teeswater and Chesley Kinsmen were represented. It was a Zoom meeting with 24 attendees. Also in attendance were our National President, Terri Iredale, District Governor, Eileen George, District Vice Governors Chrissy and Dave Heimpel and Vice Governor candidate Dutch VanMoorsel. Missing from this screen shot but who were in attendance are Jane Godin, Andrew Loucks, Bill Gardhouse, Craig Meyer and Toni Klages. All of us are eager to meet in person and start "Serving our Communities Greatest Needs".

You don't have to be a Chesley Kinsmen or a Chesley Kinette to participate in the National Day of Kin Kindness. Just try doing something extraordinarily nice, this Saturday, Feb 20th.

Pictured, second from the right, is realtor, Mark Davis, making a $5000 donation to the Chesley Kinsmen Pavilion project. Accepting the cheque are fellow Chesley Kinsmen, Marty Fitzpatrick, Zone J deputy governor, Mike Walsh, president, and Nathan Rhody, treasurer. Mark, the risk manager for the Chesley Kinsmen and a sales representative with Coldwell Banker Saugeen Real Estate, said "I'm really happy to help out with this excellent project. Hey everyone it’s wet but the parade will still go on Their has been a lot of planning and effort over the last three weeks to make this possible. Unfortunately we can’t predict the weather and it’s to late to try and change plans now. The weather forecast is showing rain to ease up a bit closer to parade start time. ... Please come support and have fun and share this post !

Attached is how we as kinsmen are going to bring the traffic through the stationary parade. We will be sending everyone through tower park starting at Martha Ave and bringing all cars to centennial and first ave N. We will have kinsmen members stage along this route to help guide everyone through the parade. we will even mark your car or mirror with a product that shows you have waited in line to view this. We think this is the best way to bring traffic through as we don’t ...want to clog up our Main Street as well as block our Chesley Fire Hall incase of an emergency. We will have lots of signage up to appoint you in the right direction ! We will then be posting a video on how to access the parade in the right direction. Again this is our first ever stationary parade so please have some patience and enjoy what we have put together for everyone! Any further questions or concerns email [email protected]
