Due to an extreme wind forecast and storm system closing in, we will be forced to close tonight! This is in regards to falling frees, branches and safety in general. Alright everyone opening day means getting used to some new protocols and rules! The biggest ones are obviously masks and social distancing being mandatory on our slopes and in our lodge. This season, we are also requiring everyone waiting in line for a lift handle to please REMOVE ONE FOOT from your binding to ensure proper social distancing!! We will have staff out enforcing this rule until everyone gets the hang of things! We realize some of these measures are non ideal, but if we want to have a healthy and prosperous year, we are all required to do our part! **UPDATED PROTOCOLS** PLEASE READ DEC 1/20 Dear Kinsmen Ski & Snowboard Centre user groups:... Due to the current climate regarding Covid-19, we will not be offering a Season pass option. For the month of December we will be offering a discounted daily lift ticket. With uncertainty in regards to facility limits, a possibility for us to cease business immediately or be closed for short periods of time, this is our best option. (please note: Monthly passes may be available in the new year. ) As we settle into our 30th season please know that we are doing everything possible to make this season at the Kinsmen Ski & Snowboard Centre amazing! Daily ticket pricing is as follows: Mon-fri 4-9pm $12 inc gst/pst Sat & Sun 10am-5pm $16 inc gst/pst Holidays $16 in gst/pst Please come and enjoy the hill. We’re a month into operations and things have been going very well and we remain open and busy because of our excellent patrons wearing masks and following all the Covid protocols! We greatly appreciate everyone’s diligence in these crazy time!! That being said, we do continually have to remind people to wear masks in lift lines and continually reminding the same people will now be coming to an end. You will get ONE WARNING before we kindly ask you to leave the premises. No if, ands, or buts!! Our ski season greatly relies on people following rules and if you don’t feel like abiding by them then that means no riding for you! We aren’t going to let a few bad apples crush our season..
