Can you believe its been a year since the pandemic started? Needless to say we have had to adapt our services with the rest of the world. Our amazing counsellors have been coming up with innovative ways to keep our students busy and connected through online workshops. Students have had the chance to chat with Beatrice Deer, learn about financial literacy and get their hands dirty with baking workshops to name a few. Check out some of the mouthwatering creations that some of our students made!
A special message from Director Lisa Mesher one year into the pandemic.

, . 1975-, . 40 , : , , , . ...! - Today, we take time to acknowledge the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement. Signed in 1975, the agreement established the foundation of Inuit-controlled education in Nunavik. Driven by more than 40 years of community leadership in education, Kativik Ilisarniliriniq has developed a curricular framework that builds on Inuit heritage: thousands of years of environmental knowledge, values of kinship, sustainable communities, and a sophisticated language and culture. Thank you to all those who have been part of this remarkable journey! #ProudOfNunavimmiut
