It’s been a busy year so far and I haven’t had a chance to share everything that’s been going on with all of you! Market activity has been strong throughout COVID-19 and although some are holding off on selling or buying for the moment. We believe the normal buzz that the spring market brings will resume after the quarantine period is over. That activity has been delayed, not lost. Here’s what I’ve been upto the last few months!... Sold unit #608 at 12069 Harris Rd, Pitt Meadows. This unit spent only two days on the market and sold for above asking price! Then moved on to help the upstairs neighbour unit #708 at 12069 Harris Rd, Pitt Meadows sell his property by captivating on the interested I was able to garner for into #608. This unit was sold within a week without being listed on the market!! For over the sellers expectations. Next, I got to help a very special family friend purchase his first home! We snatched up this unit for a great price while competing with multiple offers. Another family friend who I’ve been working with since I got my license had decided to do something very special and buy their parents a retirement present - a new condo, close to home in Port Coquitlam where they could visit but still give them their space. We secured a presale unit at THE BLOC a new development by McClean Homes. Looking forward to handing over the keys for this one next year! Shortly after, 1377 Coast Meridian Rd, Coquitlam sold. This one was very important for me as the client ( a local developer) had previously listed with another realtor for one year. In the few months we had it listed- we received multiple offers but held out for the right price and sold it at a price the seller didn’t have to compromise on Next, 1378 Hames Crescent, Coquitlam sold. This one was scary for me as selling during COVID-19 was something I was very unsure about. I didn’t know if we’d get the same traffic as we normally would. I hadn’t even had a chance to post the listing pictures - we accepted offer within a few hours of listing!! The buyers viewed the home through virtual tour and then in person following social distancing rules and wearing gloves and masks! Lastly - I was able to help my client purchase his very first home for his family to raise new born baby boy out in Maple Ridge. We competed with multiple offers and were able to secure the home even with one of the lowest offers on the table! I am so very grateful to have worked with each and every one of these clients over the past few months. Thank you for putting your trust in me and allowing me to be a part of such a huge step in your lives. I’m so appreciative for these opportunities and I’m looking forward to what the rest of 2020 has to bring and navigating through these unprecedented times that COVID-18 has brought upon us.
