It's with a heavy heart a massive amount of humble pie that I regret to inform you that Freddy Drive has been suspended in the Maritimes. I'll have to continue on in Manitoba, Ontario and B.C. My last insurer has pulled out of the Maritimes, and the ACOA funding I was promised has not come through - my emails and phone calls have been ignored. After four months of full time work, I can no longer afford to pursue business in a province with these insurance regulations. Going forward I'll forge relationships with insurance companies in other provinces in hopes that they'll overcome the regulatory framework in NB, but for now Freddy Drive in the Maritimes has been suspended. Thank you all for your support!

This week is document collecting week, as soon as I have enough criminal record checks on file we'll go live. The last hurdles have been overcome, Fredericton is ready for Ride Share, Fredericton is ready for Freddy Drive!

Alright folks, if you haven't done so already don't forget to get the insurance, criminal record check, vehicle info (make, model, and colour), and driver's license to me and we'll be ready to go!

The long wait is potentially over, if you're interested in driving please PM me so I can make sure you're setup for the insurance and we'll finish the last hurdle of the race.

Hello all, We've had some enthusiasm with new drivers registering. Please note that I have to approve you on the admin panel before we get started. At the moment, our drivers are still uninsured. I've reached out to insurance regulators to rectify this. I can't in good conscience put drivers on the road where you could get into an accident without insurance. I will keep everyone updated as to the progress. ... Thank you for your patience :)

For the folks waiting to see some progress, the app is available for download now (just type in Freddy Drive - it's not Freddy Drive Partner, just Freddy Drive). But try not to spread the word just yet, I won't have drivers listed until I know they're insured. We're ready to go live once I get the nod from the insurance companies.
