I could post my last plant painting but I'd rather post this today ... We are about 10 weeks away from meeting baby #3! These two can't wait to meet their new playmate!! In light of this change of season in our household, I will be focusing my efforts on making freezer meals and prepping for a little bit of chaos instead of art for the next while I might post, I might not... Plant break! 1 of 3 pallet knife works. Smaller canvas (8x8) so I ended up cheating a bit and using a brush for some leaf work... But you wouldn't have noticed if I didn't say anything, right?! This is my dracaena marginata. I had one of these years ago and realize now I must have SEVERELY underwatered the poor thing... It eventually ended up with one... Yes... One... Solitary leaf. This one is much happier. Life is all about growing! What is something you have given a second chance?

Miss Calliope, the show dog! She has been a very good practice dog for me. I have gotten to know the structure of her face and body and played around with the different colours of her black hair. Her owner requested this piece of her all done up with blown out hair so we gave it a go. Who know they could get such volume?!?

Thank you to everyone who took a chance at guessing this breed - and apologies if I've missed an alternative nickname - but Brogan the Irish Terrier is complete! How sweet is this face ?! He'd get Away with far too much at my house...

Finally back to some fine brush pet work! This guy is a cutie...stay tuned. Any guesses as to what breed he might be?!?
