Northern Health - covid vaccine available in Hazeltons Starting Monday March 22, 2021, all community members 18+ (at time of vaccination) are invited to book a COVID-19 vaccine appointment with the local call centre. How to book your vaccine appointment: Call centre: 1-866-481-2175 (open 7am to 7pm PST, seven days a week)... You can expect your appointment duration to be approx. 10 minutes, with an additional 15 minute wait time before leaving the venue. Yesterday the kispiox COVID vaccine clinic immunized 173 people. Today they vaccinated 180 people. When the vaccine is out it needs to be used the day of other ...wise it is wasted. If we are not getting the appointments booked by the community members that is when they open the clinic up to non kispiox members. We are doing another clinic tomorrow starting from 9:30am to 3:00pm. We have closed the walk-ins for non band members. Walk-ins will be accepted for kispiox band members tomorrow. The kispiox band members are priority but if we do not get enough people we might open it up again to non-members again. We are getting information from northern health nurses that they willl be rolling out the vaccine to more people soon and everyone will have an opportunity to get their vaccine. The GHS nursing team will also be hosting small clinics at later dates. I hope this is helpful information. Appointments will continue as scheduled tomorrow. See more
