Matt and I have been building Bench / Picnic Table combos and having a great time doing it. They are amazing space savers on the deck at home or at the cottage.

This wood fireplace went through a facelift. The hearth was changed out to a solid black pearl granite with a beam mantle. The stone brick on the wall makes for a nice contrast to the all black fireplace. Very modern and functional for any colour you choose for your room. I would like to thank my wonderful customers for allowing Matt and I to turn their ideas into reality.

A small project from an old turn of the century single bed. The seat is tumbled marble in a hearing bone pattern. The back is actually the foot board and the headboard spindles have been cut for a lower profile. Black Walnut scrolling on Maple. Dark American Walnut stain with three coats of clear polyurethane. Please share this post, as it is for sale......

Drycore and vinyl flooring is a good cost effective way to dress up a basement floor. We roughed in gas for a future fireplace, added pot lights, closet, central vac more receptacles and a box for all your TV connections to hide the wires. We added floor air returns at both ends of a large open space and modern round heat vents on the ceiling. A space that can be utilised in comfort and practicality.

Work should be clean and organized.Matt and I pride ourselves in keeping a safe and clean work zone. The walls were built an inch off the concrete, allowing air flow. The new wall was completely encapsulated with Tyvek,Vapour barrier and Roxul insulation in between, Making the area mold and mildew resistant. This method is cost effective, dry, warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
