Mark your calendar for a post-thanksgiving celebration on Sunday, October 18 at 3 pm. We invite you to embark on the music journey with Mozart's delicious little Divertimento, brimming with Italian grace and charm, and an exceptionally eloquent and moving String Quartet No.1 in D Major from Tchaikovsky (it is his very first chamber work!). Following glorious melodies of Borodin radiating with energetic texture, you will drift deeper into the wonderous sound of Mendelssohn's ...Octet in E-flat Major. From the Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber Orchestra to you. Live-streaming on Sunday, October 18 at 3 pm @ KWChamberorchestra.ca. Free of charge. Donation encouraged. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at the Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber Orchestra. In the end, though, maybe we must all give up trying to pay back the people in this world who sustain our lives. In the end, maybe it’s wiser to surrender before the miraculous scope of human generosity and to just keep saying thank you, forever and sincerely, for as long as we have voices. Elizabeth Gilbert
