It is with GREAT pleasure to introduce to you our new KW Youth Coordinator!!! Maddy's love for Jesus and leading a relational ministry is evident when you meet her. Please join me in welcoming Maddy to our community - The Youth who joined us for Youth last night had the pleasure of meeting Maddy already. I'm excited for Maddy to connect with all our Youth families in the very near future. You are in for a treat- Patti Hi all! I'm Madeleine Neufeld, you can call me Maddy. I'm... the new KW Youth Coordinator! I can't wait to get to know you and serve our parish well! I've studied Peace, Conflict and Political Science at UW and lived in community at Conrad Grebel while studying there. I am passionate about Jesus, reconciliation, sustainability, and living all those things out in community. I'm currently living in Waterloo with my own little community of 4 lovely housemates, baking bread, eating popcorn, and befriending our neighbours who walk their dogs past our house. Meet Danielle, another amazing one of our youth leaders. My name is Danielle. I am in my fourth year studying at Laurier University. I love being creative and doing different crafty projects. I love working with youth as a small group leader and when I graduate I hope to work in youth leadership development.

So much fun with this crew tonight. Campfire , s’mores, chats, laughter, tree climbing, bocce ball and more were had tonight!! #blessed

YOUTH - Our in-person gathering is tonight at 7 pm!!! Your leaders are looking forward to seeing you. There is rain in the forecast for Kitchener this evening. Check back here by 4pm to see if the campfire and hike is still a go. If by chance, and we are praying for no rain this evening but if there is and we need to reschedule tonight's campfire. We will bring our Campfire chats online and meet on zoom.

YOUTH - we are excited to be hosting our first in person gathering since March, this Wednesday September 30 @ 7 pm!!! Your leaders have missed seeing your faces in person !!! An email has been sent to your parents as to the address and social distancing guidelines that will be followed during our Campfire and hike. Looking forward to seeing you there!!! Meet Karisma, another amazing Youth Leader. Hello! My name is Karisma Jeffrey. I love to spend time with my family, and taking my dog out on hikes on local trails. I also enjoy reading and watching TV in my spare time. I love showing up to youth every week and watching them grow in life, spiritually and relationally.

Over the next little while, you will be introduced to our AMAZING Youth Leaders. Be sure to say hi. These wonderful leaders are the ones walking alongside your students :) Meet Alyssa. Hi! I’m Alyssa. Currently, I am completing my bachelor’s degree in Social Development Studies... at Renison University College. In the future, I hope to work as a Special Education Teacher. I enjoy being active and watching sports (mostly rugby and AFL). I also love hanging out with awesome youth and walking alongside them in their faith journey! I am so excited about this new school year and the challenges it may bring! See more
