Working with Blair today from Golden Lake Rustics chainsaw milling some yellow birch and bur oak slabs. It was cold, but at least the ground was frozen! Only three years until these beautiful character slabs will be transformed into one of a kind furniture. Thanks Blair for all of your help today!

See you at the Cobden Christmas Market this weekend! Friday December 2nd from 12 - 8:30pm and Saturday December 4th from 9am - 4pm! We'll be outside the Ag Hall with toboggans, cutting/charcuterie boards, tables and more!

It's a rainy day in Muskoka but that's not keeping people away! If you're in Bracebridge this weekend, come check us out at the Muskoka Arts & Crafts Inc. Summer Show from 10-6 Friday and Saturday and Sunday from 10-4!

Recently I was able to go back and take some pictures of a table and bench combo that passed through the shop in June. Black walnut book matched table with a metal base accompanied by a bench made from hickory and a Douglas Fir log salvaged from the Ottawa River. This challenging project included some skilled metal work and the bench was the first one I have made that has a back to it. I look forward to producing more works similar to these in the future. It's a beautiful day here at the Cobden Farmers Market Christmas Craft show! Outside the doors to the Ag Hall and the weather is perfect, we're here until 4pm!

We will be at the Cobden Christmas Farmer's Market this Friday and Saturday at the fairgrounds with toboggans, cheeseboards, serving paddles and even handmade Christmas wreaths and wooden Christmas cards! We'll be in a tent just outside the main entrance to the Ag Hall, be sure to pop in to say hello!
