We made it to Bella Bella, right on schedule! The fundraiser is almost at 10k, you all rock!!! Highlights so far have been having the stern of our kayak lifted up in the water by a humpback whale, and a pair of wolves strolling thru our camp during morning coffee yesterday! The team all feel strong, and completely dry for the first time in 2weeks! Next stop Port Hardy..

We are completely astounded by the HUGE support shown by Everyone!! With funds already raised, there is approximately enough money to purchase a Power-Wheelchair AND a Ceiling Lift for someone in need and living at home! Wow!! On Thursday Luke and Kye are departing from Haida Gwaii on the ferry to Prince Rupert to begin their expedition down the British Columbia coast line. They will be accompanied by their father Kevin and their Uncle Don. This trip will take them 1200km down the coast to Victoria and will pass through eight Coastal First Nations territories. They are fundraising for the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Society of British Columbia. This will be a tribute to their mother Katie B...orserio who passed away from ALS in December 2016. Kitgoro Kayaking will be closed until Mid-June when they return to Haida Gwaii. If you are looking for tours in late June, July or August please Email [email protected].
