KIA Licensed Childcare Subsidy Program (March 23, 2021) KIA is pleased to announce a childcare subsidy program for beneficiaries that have children in licensed childcare facilities, the program will start on April 1, 2021. The KIA Licenced Childcare Subsidy Program serves two purposes:... Supports the continued availability of licenced childcare facilities throughout the Kitikmeot Region, by offering subsidies that will result in increased usage. Assists eligible working Kitikmeot registered Inuit with the financial cost of enrolling their children in licenced childcare facilities regardless of location. The individual applying for funding under the Licenced Childcare Subsidy Program must be a registered beneficiary associated with a community in the Kitikmeot region.
