Guess what?! I'm planning for next year's gardens! I'll be putting together more "Garden Starter Packs", the packages that have 6 different types of seeds/vegetables. I'm wondering what you liked and didn't like from those packets? What would you like to grow and eat next year from your garden?

Winterizing your Roses

Garlic...needs to be planted ASAP Don't delay in getting your garlic in the ground. Although it's snowed, the ground isn't frozen.....yet. Find a stick and poke a bunch of holes 10cm deep, 15 cm apart and drop those cloves/seeds in. Cover them up and you're done! ... The cloves you don't plant...eat em! Last call for garlic seeds, if need more, want some...send me a message.

It's been a busy week getting garden stuff done. I've delivered garlic seeds, cleaned up and put to bed the Gitaus garden, we got the inner field rototilled (added a bunch of manure and SeaSoil), and finally planted a few hundred garlic cloves/seeds...this year in 4 of the garden boxes. Huge THANKS to Ansgar Lenser who handled the rototiller and got that job done! It was a lot of work! Much appreciated!

Garlic Seeds Available I've made up bags of 20 garlic seed/cloves per bag. The garlic needs to be planted asap, within the next week, before the ground freezes solid. Who would like some seeds for their home garden? ... Planting garlic is very simple: determine where you'll grow the garlic in your garden...poke a hole about 10cm deep....drop garlic seed/clove into hole with pointy end pointing to the sky....cover with dirt and you're done! Space seeds/plants about 15cm apart. Next spring the cloves will sprout and you'll have garlic ready to harvest by July.
