A blast from the past! Here's Eric bowling, at age 8. Even now at age 24 he still bowls the same way; swinging the ball between his legs a few times with two hands and then letting go.

I posted this about 3 years ago, and it's still as true today, so I thought I'd share it again. It highlights that conditions should be equitable, not necessarily equal.

After we looked through the latest National Geographic, Eric declared "It's cuddle time!!!" What a lucky mom I am. Although asking if we could do a selfie gave me a chance to breathe.

Eric, doing work experience at the Lifelong Learning office in Lacombe; vacuuming the floor and cleaning the whiteboards. His reward afterwards - a pop and chocolate bar.

Today I asked Eric and his aide to buy a big container of hot chocolate. It turns out that they had to go to 3 grocery stores to find a big container of it. Eric knew exactly which one he was looking for, because his brother's hot chocolate is kept in the same cupboard as Eric's beloved peanut butter.

This past weekend we assembled a portable garage. Eric was of great help! He held things steady, helped pull the tarp on, and reached up high when I was of no use.

Here's Eric joyfully stimming and scripting as he empties the dishwasher. What a great way to make a tedious chore enjoyable! Turn up the sound to hear him.

Eric teases me about Christmas decorations at Costco. I say "Noooo, too early!" He says "You've got to be kidding Mom!" This was his favorite Christmas decoration there today.
