Hi folks! If you’re interested in a unique volunteer opportunity or just want an update on Praxis, please consider attending the AGM next week!

This year was different for science fairs across the country. Our own regional fair was cancelled, as was the national fair. Instead, YSC held an online STEM fair so that students could still showcase their work. We had a few students from our region participate and the ribbons have just been awarded! Because of the current health situation, our office is temporarily closed. Praxis will not be distributing kits or offering other direct services for now. Howev...er, we continue to do science outreach activities. Happy DNA Day! National DNA Day is a unique day when students, teachers, and the public can learn more about genetics and genomics. DNA Day commemorates the successful completion of the Human Genome Project in 2003 and the publishing of DNA's double helix based on the work of James Watson, Francis Crick, and Rosalind Franklin in 1953.
