We couldn't have a Kite Festival this year, but still reached out to kids at Foxboro Public School who were studying flight and kites.

There were 11 cars registered, starting at the Kiwanis Skatepark and ending at Jane Forrester Park at Freestone Point, named after Bob Freestone, Kiwanis President in 1964. Stops included the Stirling Airport, Batawa, the Bleasdell Boulder among others. A good time had by all. Winners will be announced at our next meeting: Wednesday, Oct 28. Stay tuned!

A beautiful day for a Kiwanis Car Quiz.

When the welding students at Centennial Secondary School started up their classes, it became quite obvious that cloth face masks and welding torches did not go together. Solution? Industrial-rated face shields. Problem? So expensive that there was no room in the budget for them. Answer: reach out to a service club that supports kids...Kiwanis! With a donation from the Kiwanis Club of Belleville, the CSS welding students are hard at work...safely!
